In Summer We Get Social

It’s Wednesday, so you know what that means… In Summer Edition 2! I decided it should be kept consistent & be on the same day each week like MM, and what better day than the day of the week I started this?

Anyway, I realized that I don’t really know too much about you all, & you don’t really know that much about me than what I write. I was on Instagram recently when my cousin tagged me to do a “20 Facts About Me” thing, which gave me the idea to do one on my blog. I thought I remembered reading something like that on Ally’s World, a blog here on WordPress, that I’d wanted to try.

Ally had been tagged to take part in the “Liebster Award” which seemed very interesting to me. She described it as the following:

“So, apparently, the Liebster Award is like a chain letter given to bloggers who have 200 or less followers and it’s for new and current followers to find a bit more out about the person behind the screen.
The Liebster award was super new for me but I love the concept of getting involved in this little blogging community and I think the questions I got asked are fab”

I remembered her post about this the other day, though it was published in April, because of the 20 Facts tag on Instagram. As I re-read this, I noticed that she was to nominate other bloggers, & she’d also written:

“And finally you! Whoever reads this please feel free to answer my questions and don’t forget to let me know. 🙂 ”

I hadn’t noticed that her readers were nominated the first time I read this, & I thought it’d be the perfect way for you to get to me a bit better.

Please note that the questions I’ll be answering are the ones Ally came up with. 🙂

So here it goes…

1. What is the aim of your blog & why did you start one?

Empowerment. Love. Fashion. Life.

I started my blog one day because I’d been thinking about how cool it’d be to write one. I thought it’d be a good way to showcase my photography since I’d been taking my camera everywhere. It’s turned into something bigger, it’s a part of me, & something I love to work on. I love doing my empowerment posts, “shooting” outfits for my Lookbook… fashion is so much fun, & just to talk about life and what’s going on with me. I love that my blog has been viewed in 29 different countries, it’s just crazy to be able to connect with so many different people across the globe.

2. What is your style? Describe it in a sentence.

My style is me, I wear whatever I feel like wearing because I feel like myself in it.

3. What is your most loved high end beauty item?

I like high end but I don’t do high end. I’d have to say my Beautifully Disney lip gloss or nail polish.

4. If you could pick one meal you had to eat forever, what would it be?

The Quattro Formaggi pizza from Via Napoli at Epcot Center in Disney World.

5. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?

Fresh out of grad-school doing what I love, whatever that may be by then.

6. What is your favourite style of music, name a favourite singer/ band?

I mostly like pop music, but I’ve been listening to a bit of alternative lately… Taylor Swift & Bastille.

7. Colour scheme of your bedroom?

Quoting the paint buckets: “Betsy Ross House Blue & Sunny Dale Green!”

8. What is your favourite place in the world?

Aulani Resort, Ko Olina, Hawaii & Walt Disney World.

9. Name 4 of your favourite shops.

Target, Aeropostale, American Eagle, & Modcloth.

10. Do you prefer reading or watching tv/ do you have recommendations for either?

Definitely reading. I recommend:
