As you know, I mentioned wanting to take my writing in a new direction: towards fashion. I thought I’d start by creating a New Years Eve Look Book. I’ve picked out a few outfits & styled them below. Whether you’re going to a party or just hanging out with friends, there’s an outfit for you.
This first outfit is for you if you’re looking to be presentable but casual, & you still want to look nice at a hangout with your friends. For this look, I selected a a comfortable shirt & a pair of leggings. I finished off the look by adding a scarf & pairing my combat boots with the ensemble.
This next outfit is for you if you’re looking to be a little dressy & a bit more polished than the last outfit. For this look, I selected a color scheme & ran with that. I started with a basic white t-shirt & built up from there. Next, I picked this tartan-print skirt from Aeropostale, & topped it all off with this mulberry-colored kimono cardigan. I put on over-the-knee socks & my combat boots. Finally, I added my Alex & Ani collection to give a little flair to the outfit.
This last outfit is for you if you’re going to a dressy, fancy party. I didn’t add too much to this outfit because of all of the beading at the dress – I just accessorized with a few Alex & Ani bangles and added a headband. I also paired some simple black heels with the dress.

Yael

Stunning…you have a true talent for fashion and articulate your ideas in a way that helps those of us who are fashion-challenged…
Thank you! My goal is to give readers some ideas so that they can use them and make them their own, so I hope it helped!
